Leaf: “The interview I did with Paul McCartney was a thrill, hearing him expresses his love and praise for Brian, his music and the Pet Sounds album. The McCartney interview was only inserted in a limited number of the first issue of the CD when it was issued back in 1990.”

The CD booklet for the 1988 Brian Wilson solo album with liner notes by David Leaf.  Leaf: “The making of the album, as described in the book, was a complicated time, but for the liner notes, I was able to let my passion for the music just pour out.”
